Report: MBB Issue No. 17 Released

Washington, D.C., United States, December, 29 2008 - MIX has released the latest issue of the semi-annual publication MicroBanking Bulletin. Number 17 features benchmark data from 846 MFIs throughout the developing world, the largest number of participants to date.

The MBB includes feature articles cover microfinance in Africa, the status of the work of the Social Performance Task Force, and a case study on Boliva contributed by BlueOrchard.

The MBB highlights performance benchmark data from MFIs, based on medians and placed into several different peer groups, providing a comprehensive view of the state of microfinance.
